Doreen Allen lives in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania with a Bachelors and Masters in education. She has always wanted to be a teacher and writing had never crossed her mind until the tragic loss of her daughter, Tiana. The notion of being a writer didn’t seem possible and she kept putting off the idea until God placed it heavily in her spirit in 2015. She wanted a way to keep her daughters spirit alive and the inspiration came to be in 2009 but didn’t flourish until 2015. Her love for God, children, and writing, all come together in the tale of Tiana and Briana. Her first book, Tiana and Briana: The Problem with Ms. Perfect was a success in her eyes because she accomplished what she set out to do, keep Tiana’s memory in the life of all who knew and loved her. She looks forward to writing more stories on Tiana and Briana and hope you enjoy reading them.
